When someone recommends borg instead of Pika Backup for a desktop user

Ich werd glaub ich nie verstehen, warum Petitionen bei irgendwelchen Plattformen wie change.org und Konsorten schnell hunderttausende Unterzeichnungen bekommen, obwohl das keine Auswirkungen auf irgendwas hat.

Aber bei "echten" Petitionen, die sich ein Ausschuss im Bundestag dann wenigstens tatsächlich auch angucken muss, wird es selbst bei wichtigen Themen mit dem popeligen 30000er Quorum knapp.

Mozilla, please. Stop chasing the fads. Get your own values.

People use Firefox to get access to an open web, use a sturdy browser, and not to be tracked. Build in that direction and that direction only.

Nobody from your current user base will recommend Firefox with AI to their friends.

Ich stelle fest: Social Media hat für mich massiv an Bedeutung verloren seit dem Ende von Twitter.
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram hab ich alle aufgegeben.

Ich bin zu Mastodon gewechselt und poste seither sporadisch hier. Ich hab auch Accounts bei Bluesky & Threads, aber gucke da schon seit langem nicht mehr rein.

Ich verbringe nun Zeit bei Reddit und in meinem Compendion-Discord. Meine News beziehe ich darüber und nach wie vor über RSS, inzwischen über Tapestry.
