This year, the protest signs for #25deAbril will be perpetuated on the web. And for 2027, the same.

I embarked on building a web application that would not only celebrate this boundless creativity, but also shine a light on a critical date in Portuguese history, in which 50 years of a brutal and obscure fascist regime were put to an end.
Update to my 25 de Abril signs app! Still in heavy development.
"One of the specifications I set out for this project was that folks could love their favourite signs. With that in place, it would then be possible to sort the list of posters by popularity. So I added a "loves" column to the "Cartazes" table, and wired a button on the frontend to update this."
