*Smart*public*policy* โ€” researched, then implemented. Don't ignore experts. Don't go with untested hunches (but sure, okay to spend some money to test them if they seem legit). Don't follow your gut or indulge group think or engage in criminal activity and grift โ€” and don't hire โ€” nor elect โ€” legislators (all the way to the top โ€” POTUS) who are populist, lying, grifting criminals. How to avoid that outcome? Invest in childcare and public education. 1/
