Elon Musk took over Twitter and turned it into the anti-woke, fascist-amplifying X.

There’s been debate about whether to stay since he bought it. But seeing how it’s evolved and the recent Grok deepfake scandal, there’s no good argument to stay.

@parismarx what took you so long? I dropped that s(h)ite the moment I heard Elon Musk was showing interest in buying Twitter.
@rozeboosje @parismarx don't shame people for behaving in positive ways.
@noodlemaz @parismarx Not everything is a put down.
@rozeboosje how else would you read what you said?
@noodlemaz Who made you the Tone Police?

@rozeboosje well if you're not going to answer.

And I'm not. But this happens constantly. People say they've left a Bad Place and people turn up, like parents exclaiming 'Oh so you've decided to join us!' when a shy child finally works up the courage to see strange people (and now feels like they never should again) - with the 'omg what took you so long'

It doesn't help.
Do you want to help?
Or do you just want to push people away and feel superior about it?

No need to answer because I won't see it, but maybe you could think about it.

@noodlemaz It's always a good idea to block people who rub you up the wrong way so if that's what you've done here I won't blame you.

We're all allies here, by the way. But in cultures like the British and the Irish, and many others, there's a thing called "gentle ribbing", a "mild tease".

People do need support. But nobody needs protection by self appointed Shites in Whining Armour
