This Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) dumps mandatory cybersecurity requirements on manufacturers using FOSS, while the @EUCommission guts and cancels even its already pathetic, support for FOSS projects.
Add the total pants-down surrender on issues like #chatcontrol, the gutting of citizen safeguards through the changes to #GDPR and #eIDAS 2.0:

If #transparency, #cybersecurity, and #DigitalSovereignty matter so much to the @EUCommission, how much of the billions in fines slapped on #BigTech in recent years has actually been put into #FOSS? 🤔
@ricardo @EUCommission Do we already know what Meta's former lobbyist has trashed in the GDPR? I haven't seen anything as yet.
My suspicion is she will scrape everything, and write into law, "All user data is here-there-of 110% owned by Google, Microsoft, Meta, Twit, [etc.,]"
