I hear the bridge is almost as boring (it's sooo long) but I'd still like to drive it!
@deborahh It is designed to have drivers focus on traffic rather than the view, which is probably smart. On really windy days, they have to shut it down, but I think it's changed life for folk on the island and around the area. I know that we've driven across for the day (from NS) a number of times on a whim. We wouldn't have done that with the ferry. I do remember those long wait times. They still have the ferry between the island and Caribou, NS, which is handy for some.
@CStamp oh, right! The ferry was long, but I forgot the line to get on the ferry! Rather trying, with kids (like us) on board, I bet 🤭.
