I've been a little quiet on here recently because we had a family vacation immediately followed by a work trip to Barcelona. We were mostly in meetings while visiting Barcelona, but we did have one day to explore the city. I was hoping to get into Sagrada Familia, but didn't buy tickets in advance so that didn't work out. We hopped on a double decker bus and headed to Poble Espanyol, a miniature town built in 1929 to showcase the culture and architecture of Spain. I hadn't visited in either of my two previous visits to Barcelona, so it was fun to explore. This alleyway covered with colorful umbrellas was a popular selfie spot.
