@dusoft Are you sure that this isn't intentional - many people receive friend requests, including for newly updated moves. Some people may just have to accept the fact that you moved.

@shanie Don't know, but moving does not change the profile, so everything should be fully automatic without any manual requests and confirmations.

@dusoft Should, but it isn’t! And that may be by design. You may have also joined an instance that has been defederated by the users instance, or that users instance may not exist anymore so they could not tell the user you moved since they don’t exist.

A move is a bespoke re-request for, as you can see, more than a couple people.

@shanie This is completely new instance, so hardly blocked... Anyway, one thing is "by design" (arbitrary), another thing is "usable" (empiric / best practices).
