@jasongorman Last time I tried to pay with a credit card in Albert Heijn, the biggest supermarket chain there, they looked at my Visa and said “EuroPay or cash”.

So I can believe it.

@jasongorman @samir there's something called iDEAL, it works with all Dutch banks. I regularly buy things online.

If that's not there, I have a credit card which works for online payment.

Also my new bank card says "Visa Debit", but I am not sure I can do anything special with that at this point. The previous card was "Maestro".
