tag urself i'm beer corkscrew
I have such trouble finding earphones that fit because my ears are tiny. Someone recently pointed out they make these mini ones now and fair play while the box language is gibberish they fit perfectly, I can barely feel them
@babe I got myself Sony WF1000XM5 and they came stock with the tiniest of foam plugs or whatever they are called
@babe I'd recommend the shokz earphones, if you do not need noise cancelling. They sit in front of your ears and work great (imho)
@babe @hyperbolix I've been using them for about 3 years. They are good for sports and listening to podcasts or audiobooks. They're not good for music. They're absolutely terrible for calls (especially with Teams and WebEx, Zoom is OK).
@pkraus @babe My ears are somewhat... odd shaped. I'd rather have bad quality of music but a comfortable wear than headaches after a few minutes and great music.
But I know what you mean. The OpenRun Pro are limited in what they can do.
@hyperbolix I have a pair of conduction ones and I only use them in water. I don't like them.
I want the blocking of noise that earbuds give as I don't do well with ambient sound.

@babe I just hate plugging my ears in general and yeah my canals seem narrower than most. Some time ago I discovered there's a decent fanbase for the good old "flathead earbuds" and there's a bunch of Chinese companies making really good ones for cheap.

I got me some QKZ and NiceHCK from Aliexpress and I love them. Depending on which part of ear is small, that might be an option for you too!

Edit: the ones I use daily are QKZ MDR and apparently they currently go for €5. So yeah, might be worth checking out.

@virtulis If I'm using wired ones I use really cheap chinese sleep earphones plugged into a bluetooth receiver. Works well for the most part. Not the greatest sound quality but I don't mind it

@babe

They look like in-ear and not over-ear phones. Is that right?

@Phosphenes Yep. Just really small ones
@babe I can recommend the ear-clip ones. No bunging up your holes and no risk of falling out.

Gadget Review: SOUNDPEATS Clip1 Cuff Headphones

The good folks at SOUNDPEATS have sent me their new "Clip1" headphones to review. They are easily the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. Typically, headphones fall into three broad categories. In ear, like the Apple EarPods. Over ear, like the Beats. Bone Conducting, like the AfterShokz. But these are not typical headphones. These are part of a new category of "cuff" audio. They…

@Edent I have piercing right where they clip so they wouldn't work for me
@babe As a fellow small ear person who has great difficulty finding earbuds that do not hurt would you mind sharing a link to these, or the name please? 🙏
@CosmicTraveler
Xmenha Invisible Mini Earbuds on amazon but there seem to be a lot that are more or less the same thing.
Just look for mini wireless earbuds
@babe long endurance and comfortable fit
@babe meanwhile the product is actually one of those muppet hair looking mitts you use to wash your car

@babe how very versatile of you!

I'm all about button controls

@babe im hydrothermograph
@babe One-Step Pairing - just buy me a drink.

@babe

In my younger days I was One Step Pairing.

Now I'm more Comfortable Fit.

@babe impedance:320 definitely.
@smellsofbikes @babe 32 ohms is probably high enough that you won't blow them out the first time you pair them, but I would exercise caution when corkscrewing beer. I tried to find an amperage chart for different kinds of beer and was unsuccessful. I think if you corkscrew, say, an IPA you should be fine, but anything darker might cause problems.
@babe you know those sandals with a bottle opener on the sole? It's like that but you're nestling a steel corkscrew into your ear so you have one on hand should you need it
@babe i'm one-step pairing
@babe
I wish i was charging time: ~30 mins
