Any fellow #ASD #ActuallyAutistic #ADHD #AuDHD folks had experience doing #MorningPages ? Was introduced to it by my partner, and after watching some You Tube explainers, I did my first "Morning Pages" this morning. I'm just wondering if it's helped you, how it's helped you, and for the ADHDers, if you managed to keep the practice up? It's too early days for me, just want to know if I should commit!

The Artist's Way - Wikipedia

@mattb like very much, intrigued but won't be able to pull it off. I only have one ink and don't even believe in this stuff.
I wish I could motivate myself to get up in general, and ideally do situps or some other muscle warmup. Or write a diary.

So, why do people do morning pages? What's the goal? Do you have to get up extra early to do it? Or is it for self-employed artists only🫣

@kiwobin Why? I'm not 100% - I believe it helps to purge your surface level thoughts, fears, ideas, preparing the way for creativity and clarity. I haven't actually read The Artist's Way though! It did take me 40 minutes for 3 pages, so it is a commitment, which is why I wanted confirmation it worked for people with similar brains :)
