I am so excited to see which direction Denmark will take after Tuesday's general elections.

Will the center-left coalition win and continue the present long term strategies?

Or will the right wing coalition win and solve climate change, improve the economy, save the endangered fjords, and make everyone happy by…
[And I need my notes here]
Getting rid of all the Muslims?!?!?!

I seriously hope voters do not fall for that, but sadly, it is neck and neck in the polls. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

@randahl

Randahl, you should run. Just promise everyone free Gammel Dansk for life or something. πŸ™‚ And when it's time to fulfill that promise, you give them a consistent flood of "other things" Γ  la Trump.

@randahl Don't make the same mistake as Finland. Unemployment is at an all-time high, companies are going bankrupt, nature is being destroyed, Nazis are in government, and the government takes from the poor and gives tax breaks to the rich etc etc
@randahl
Puh! I wish an of them will keep on speaking to each other after the vote.
That seems to me the hardest thing in ... many other countries.
@randahl Good luck Randahl, 50-50 is not a number that makes anyone feel easy

@randahl

So you're telling me that countries with universal healthcare, strong social safety nets, and high quality of life are voting for Nazis?

It's almost like the racists are just being racist and the leftists who constantly excuse their racism and dismiss it as economic anxiety are full of it.

@HakeemG it is a bit more complicated. The racist vote is at 16 percent and divided between two parties, Danmarksdemokraterne and DF.

But since the less extreme right wing parties like The Conservatives and Venstre do not have enough votes to defeat the center left coalition, they want to form a coalition with the two racist parties.

And we have been here before β€” it ends in chaos every time, and they make these sick compromises where we can only fund the budget if Muslims suffer in a new way.

@randahl
A continuation of the broad center is rather unlikely, isn't it? We'll see if she stays and who the kingmaker will be. (M).
@SamsenBdRi M or B β€” they are neck and neck.
@randahl Fingers crossed for you!
@randahl Everywhere... πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

@randahl why can't we just have 4 years with a left wing government?!

Why can't we have nice things
