@256 this really takes me back! I was definitely using SuSE 7.x

the KDE desktops of that era (KDE 2?) were excellent

clean, light, simple, clear

actually windows 95 as a UI was also excellent

(I actually think SuSE 7.0 was my first time with Linux.)
