Anyone using KDE, do you know of any widgets that are still being supported that provide just the name of a virtual desktop? For context, I have two main virtual desktops, with two more "background" virtual desktops for chat applications and media playback.

I know Activities provides this, and I wouldn't mind, however I'm a bit wary on using it since the feature's basically in a catatonic state at the moment, and IDK if it'd be a good idea for my use case.

Everyone whinging about systemd's age verification bullshit made me miss all the posts shitting on Microsoft. Software ideologues are great at doing the opposite of what they want to achieve.

edit: I'm just gonna say this, this whole age verification shit is making me mentally crash the fuck out and it's getting frequent, so I've been muting anything and everything about it. this includes all you fucking ideologues who replaced any sort of personality with hatred for systemd.

Was going to install CachyOS on something but skipped as I don't have time for it and I want to use that time being productive (see: playing FISH! in VRChat)

Now with everyone going off over systemd exposing an optional field, kinda glad I skipped.

gonna be honest, the systemd DOB thing is massively overblown. they are the symptom, not the actual problem.

going to an anti-systemd distro is not going to fix the problem, you're simply running away from it while letting the child rapist oligarchy get away with it.
