It's still early days, but the more I use WordPress, the less I want to go to a static site generator tbh. It's in the air on whether I want to move from DreamHost to a managed WordPress host since it'd be cheaper, but WordPress is a keeper.

I said this on my post (shameless plug: https://flaky.blue/blog/goodbye-quartz-hello-wordpress), but the gist is that SSGs assume you are a web developer. WordPress assumes the opposite. And that's the paradigm I wanted for my website. SSGs were simply the wrong tool for me.

I wish Gutenberg was more like Obsidian but I get why it's not, it's meant to handle both posts and site components. Maybe I'll just use an Obsidian plugin for posting to WordPress, or just copy from Obsidian to Gutenberg, or just live with it.
