The Trump regime has lifted sanctions on both Russian and Iranian crude oil now, making sure they can make a lot of money due to the high prices of crude oil caused by the US war against Iran. Making it easy for your enemies to make money is kind of the opposite of what makes sense in a conflict. But Trump's buddies in the fossile fuel industry will be very happy.
"Don't mind the bombs and the dead children, sell us your oil" is definitely one of the weirdest ways to run a war. #SarcasmButOnlyHalf
@jwildeboer The Art of the Deal™️
@jwildeboer it's like sun sun said: strengthen your enemies while hurting yourself.
@mook @jwildeboer yeah, I remember that quote, genius
@jwildeboer
"the art of the diesel", wasn't it?
@mad @jwildeboer No. This war is about the Epstein files. It explains perfectly the lack of planning, and underestimating of supply chains and Iran’s capabilities at a minimum.
@10tothe22 @mad @jwildeboer Don't forget Netanyahu also has a lot of corruption scandals to hide below the ruins of Gaza and Iran. These are truly dark times.
@jwildeboer The Art of the Deal 😏
@jwildeboer makes perfect sense when you understand that trump works for putin

@jwildeboer So, here's the thing. Trump and his Congress and his Supreme Court can sign a National Security Executive Order, pass legislation, affirm the Constitutionality of that EO and those laws...that require all domestically produced and/or US transported and/or US refined petroleum products to be 1) sold within the US during a time of Excursion (War) under 2) profit control, that is, cost plus 3%. Trump is correct the US is a net exporter of oil. Most of the propane and diesel sold in the US is produced in the US. But US oil producers are profiting from Trump's Excusion by forcing US consumers to pay global prices.

The US consumers do not need Russian or Iranian oil to be freed of sanctions. US citizens do not benefit from Trump lining the pockets of murderous Russian and Iranian despots or US oil billionaires.

Demand US oil billionaires be patriotic. US troops lives are worth more than oil profits.

@jwildeboer - That is what you call War Profiteering.
@jwildeboer and downstream of the oil producers, I'm sure that all the data-centre heavy industries (crypto, "social" media, AI) are quite happy with this arrangement too. Morals/ethics be damned!
