Preparing the ingredients for some delicious spinach empanadas for our trip! ðŸĨŸðŸĨŽðŸ˜‹
And now, the second part of the spinach empanada preparation. This is what I call the fun arts-and-crafts portion.  ðŸĨŸ

@claudiom what's in with the spinach? Is that a cheese or chicken?

Lovely work on the sealing, too.

@gumnos It's hard boiled egg and feta cheese. I also added diced onions and crushed garlic. And thanks on my sealing work! It's improved, but could be better.

@claudiom

Hah, given that the most recent time I made them, my sealing work looked like it was done by a drunk kindergartner, I can certainly recognize bad work when it happens, and yours wasn't it 😆

@gumnos LMAO! â€‹ My first time was like that. I used to use a fork to seal them previously, but decided to make the effort to do it right. And as is customary (and having learned), it's 13 twists. Some Argentine tradition where, according to the Googs, it symbolizes Jesus and the 12 apostles. â€‹â€‹
@claudiom It's an awful lot of work for something I plan to shove in my face 😆
@gumnos That's what makes it taste so good! ðŸĪŠðŸ˜‚
