Odin down at the pond

Unfortunately, he’s looking so alert because a dog who’s picked a fight with him before just trotted around the corner and stopped dead in its tracks. Odin clearly remembered, because he actually growled, which he’s done like twice in his life.

We were able to break them up safely

@0xabad1dea before my eyes focused, I thought it was a bear who had dove head first into some muck, with just its hind legs sticking out.
@0xabad1dea if *Odin* dislikes a dog, that one must be a real jerk
@0xabad1dea Odin looks a lot like the Loch Ness monster here 😝
@bradfrank @0xabad1dea Nessie has fur; who knew.
@0xabad1dea amazing to see that having a death-wish is something that's apparently also present in the animal world :D picking a fight with such a beast clearly points to that 😅
@DJGummikuh while this dog is smaller than him, it's one of the bigger dogs that lives within a few miles of here for sure, and it has more fighting spirit than Odin
@0xabad1dea still, if I see someone for which I have to actually tilt my head backwards so I can see their head, my first assumption would not be that this is a worthy opponent but instead someone that can kick my ass to the for quarters of the world, so picking a fight with this person immediately feels ill-advised, regardless of the amount of fighting spirit this mountain might or might not have 🤣
I'm glad they didn't get into a fight. Dogs do remember other dogs who have attacked in the past.
@0xabad1dea
@0xabad1dea I might have said it before but even though my best dogs are Border Collies Newfies come a close second. He's a beauty isn't he.
@0xabad1dea Good for Odin on recognizing the threat.
@0xabad1dea ❤️ Happy Thursday👍
💕Thanks for Sharing😍
👋Happy Day ahead😀
@0xabad1dea waterline went up when he went in
@0xabad1dea Beware of wenches with swords, Odin
