ESP32 SuperMini Wifi-performance is absolutely abysmal. RSSI of -55 for a WiFi Router 2m away. If I run it in AP mode my laptop can't reliably pick it up at 1/2m distance. FUCK THIS. I expected way more from them and it throws a spanner in my entire project 🤬
$30 billion and the water supply of a small city later

though jokes aside. The only way this bill would ever fly would be
- make 3D printers a completely closed Ecosystem where the manufacturer controls the slicer
- have the slicer upload the model to a cloud service for classification
- have the slicer refuse to slice the model if a hit is found.

This raises SEVERE questions regarding copyright, freedom of speech, it security and quite frankly ethics. At some point, this style of government just becomes tyranny

haha I need to remember that one, I love it :D

I just checked, the gas temperature of a 9mm shot fired reaches around 2000°C.
So you have the exciting choice between PLA (melts at 40°C), PETG (melts at around 70°C) or ASA (melts at around 100°C). The 1900°C (best case) gap is on the house 👍

It would LITERALLY make more sense to build a gun from wood!

for those that don't know: 3D printed weapons are no serious threat.
- You can't print ammunition
- if you want to build a makeshift weapon you really just need a pipe - prohibit plumbing next?

This is just utterly, utterly insane and these People should be checked for mental fitness in their office

So california is currently in the process of regulating that 3D Printers require filter technology that prevents them from printing Weapon parts and I truly, honestly wonder how much shit can fit into a single person's brain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ax9zW0w_gY
Strictest 3D Printing Regulation YET!

I'm trying to flash an ESP32S3 SuperMini (using the ESP32S3 Dev Module Profile) in Arduino IDE. Flashing appears to be successful, but it doesn't seem like I can upload sketches, at the very least I can't seem to get Serial Output to get running (USB CDC is enabled)
We have a transmission process that fails with a specific file under Linux. The last modified Date of the file is 09:30. When we touch the file so the last modified date is in the afternoon, the process starts to work. If we then touch the file so the last modified date is on the value it was before, it still works. What the fuck am I missing that changes between two touches 09:30 -> 14:30 -> 09:30 that could cause this?
The second LED becoming permanent signals successful WIFI connection
