Afghanistan 🇦🇫The Supreme Court of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan states that the month of Shawwal has been sighted and corresponds to the first day of Eid al-Adha this Thursday, February 28th.
The Supreme Court has said that a large number of people in the provinces of Helmand, Farah, and Ghor have sighted the month of Shawwal and presented evidence of the sighting to Sharia courts, and these witnesses have been deemed legally valid.
The Supreme Court had previously urged citizens to attempt to sight the month in their areas, and if someone sighted the month, they could come forward to the court of their area and the Shawwal sighting committee to testify.

سترې محکمې ویلي، چې په هلمند، فراه او غور ولایتونو کې ګڼ شمېر کسانو د شوال میاشت لېدلي او شرعي محاکمو ته یې د میاشتې د لیدلو شاهدي وړاندې کړې او شاهدې یې شرعا معتبره بلل شوې ده.
سترې محکمې تر دې مخکې له هېوادوالو غوښتي وو چې په خپلو سیمو کې د میاشتې د لیدلو هڅه وکړي او د میاشتې د لیدلو په صورت کې کس کولای شي د خپلې سیمې محکمې او د میاشتې لیدلو پلاوي ته د شاهدۍ لپاره ورشي.
