I usually do without the condensed milk, but this one works:
5 cups water
6 bags black tea, or 1 1/2 tablespoons loose tea
2 star anise
3 whole cloves
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
Bring the water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
Remove the pan from the heat and add all dry ingredients. Steep for 10 minutes and strain.
Let the tea cool to room temperature.
Serve with ice and a tbsp condensed milk in each glass.
