You might remember my distress at not having been able to grab any tiny balancing sheep photos. Went out for a walk today and it wasn't perfect (the pathway is noticeably higher than the field which makes it tricky) BUT VICTORY IS MINE! 🐑 😁

I continue to stand by rubbish-but-real being better than polished-but-fake.

Behold my rubbish-but-real triptych.

#tinyBalancingSheep

The earlier discussion on the value of rubbish-but-real in the context of tiny balancing sheep was here, in case anyone wonders why I'm banging on about this as a victory 😁

@eclectech hahahahaha!! Trained tiny sheeple!
@Lizette603_23 SO happy they posed for me 😆
@eclectech amazing talented photographer I'D SAY, but I'm a little twisted, so......baaahhhhhh
@eclectech so cool!
@GreenSkyOverMe I was *far* too excited when I realised they were there (the path only has a very small number of posts - it was a tiny balancing miracle)!
@eclectech You cannot be too excited about tiny balancing sheep!

@eclectech

Rubbish but real is entirely my approach :-)

(While trying (but mostly failing, in good humour) to become less rubbish through practice.)

@OccasionalDucks Definitely the way forward. I am going to try and work up to a good tiny balancing sheep, but getting some rubbish ones was still very satisfying!

@eclectech Excellent work!

I hardly ever come across sheep in my neck of the woods but I did meet someone repainting the lighthouse!

I did think of the magnificent but too rare tiny balancing sheep whenI took this 😄

@eclectech That post has a tail too!

@eclectech

These are fabulous! Well done, you! 🤩

@Her_Doing Thank you. Was far too pleased with myself 😆
@eclectech also that fence/gate post needs some googly eyes
@Wifiwits @eclectech Yes, googly eyes looking straight up!
@Nead @Wifiwits Hahahaha! Yeah, might have to do that...
@eclectech That is a great and very worthy triptych. And the sheep are impressively wee. 10/10 from me.
@Dolphinchaz Hehe, you are (definitely) too kind 😁
@eclectech Your creativity always astounds me. I'm adopting your posts as my 'emotional support toots'.
@eclectech Also, I would think keeping the sheep AND the post in focus would be a challenge.
@Nead Yeah, funnily enough my attempts the other week (when I was grumping at my failure) was partly due to that issue (they were also on a branch rather than posts, which didn't work as well). Today I decided to grab the moment with my phone instead (so not such good photos, but goal achieved). Next step is to workout the settings on the camera to get better quality ones.
@Nead Aww, thank you. I like that 😊
@eclectech clearly in #3, the tiny sheep is going to the grass on top of the fencepost.
@nxskok Yes! This is what I thought too.
@eclectech i don't see your issues as a full noob. The first two pics are SO COOL!
@eclectech That lefthand one is perfick! 😁
@eclectech Excellent work 🐑
@thebaywindowgirl Thank you kindly. And huge thanks for introducing me to them... they always bring a wee bit of joy into my timeline (tiny balancing joy).

@eclectech

These are fantastic!

Now you need to get the sheep to take a tiny-balancing-person photo for you.

@eclectech

Oooh yes the wee tiny sheeps!

@eclectech These sheep are out standing in their field.
As are ewe, er, you.

@eclectech My next question after this achievement would be...

Has anyone spotted a tiny balancing coo?

@solitha Ooooooh. Well I'm going to be on the lookout now.

@eclectech

#RubbishButReal reminds me of the trad folk band Ragged but Right 😅

@eclectech Thrice perfection!
@eclectech
extra points for the hat trick triptych but also for the sheep being SO VERY TINY INDEED
@eclectech like all those tourists holding up the tower of Pisa, but more elegant somehow.

@eclectech
Thank you, fellow human, for creating and sharing your excellent tiny balancing sheep photos. They brought a smile to my face this morning, so thank you for your persistence and tenacity.

🐑 🔍

@eclectech that should be a post card!
@eclectech Wonderful and whimsical and RBR! Thanks for sharing!
@eclectech
We may at last have the answer to Philip K. Dicks timeless question, “Do androids dream of eclectech’s tiny balancing sheep?”
@eclectech that's awesome 🐑
@eclectech These are wonderful! I love how you've lined them up in the triptych too.
@lnr Thank you! The triptych was largely to cover up the not-great-quality photos, but inadvertently worked quite well 😆
