The rest of the world is probably wondering why Americans who disagree with Trump’s war on Iran don’t take to the streets in protest.
Trump would love to unleash his ICE goons on us. Look at Minneapolis.
To get the fastest response, I propose a National Strike.
Longshoremen stop offloading ships.
Truckers stop delivering their cargo.
TSA walkouts shut down major airports.
How long would it take for Congress to stop Trump?
Hit Trump’s donors in the wallet.
Then maybe he’ll end the war.
This would be lovely, but many Americans would need to recognize and grapple with the reality that they are serfs in a quasi-feudal system to be willing to take risks like that. The illusion of freedom is clearly worth more to them.

The people with no money have been culturally and psychologically beaten until they literally don't care if the world explodes tomorrow.
Instead of self harm with a National strike for which there isn't sufficient time to organize and still keep people under a roof, I propose cooperatives, that take away the incentive for forever wars in the Middle East.
Reshape the US with:

Start with the utility bill for heating an cooling buildings.
Building codes in most states prohibit the architectural features and techniques that reduces the utility bill to zero.
Fight fascism and terrorism by sacking the dudes in the commissions that use their position to keep their business model alive.

The beauty of passive houses, high rises and skyscrapers is that the people using it gain money for other things.
Next: Kick the zoning commissioners to the curb and help soccer moms out of their taxi services and kids back on their bikes safely.
Make suburbia walkable. Retire the giant firetruck and replace it with smaller specialty EV vehicles, reducing traffic accidents at the same time, by the ability to follow safer road designs.

Kick SUVs to the curb and replace it with safer EVs other than Tesla.
Those passive houses with PVs and smart accus can charge those smaller smart EVs and are safer for kids in the driveway, which no longer get run over in the blind spots of SUVs.
Closing that loophole for SUVs not necessary. Just counter the ridiculous ads for SUVs with a better story.

Because the US system, unlike most of Europe, is poorly organized when it comes to strikes and too many have a hard time to keep up with two to three jobs.
My suggestions create community and open opportunity to safe money and make money at the same time. The community is contributing to a better environment and live social democracy at the same time.
It counters US self exploitation without openly challenging believe systems that make striking in the US so hard.
Yes, I understand, but the two approaches address issues on very different time scales. A strike has an immediacy that can match the immediacy of an urgent and developing war that is already under way. Counter-cultural community, distributed systems, and resilient local support structures are the very important long game, but won’t do anything about this war in this time.
Neither will a national strike. It is a strong signal just like the "No Kings" demonstrations with increasing numbers every time.
If you want to use a national strike over a prolonged period of time you need a war chest not even all EU unions can provide, which you would need to force any political change with an industrial military complex involved, who have a budget that definitely exceeds the capabilities of any organisation that attempts a national strike.
