The #nokings turnout in Larkspur, CO today. I’d guess 5% of passing cars gave us the finger, 5% did nothing, and 85-90% waved, gave thumbs up or laid on their horn (or all three). I like that ratio.

@_L1vY_ I think about the rural areas particularly, I'd rather see a crowd of 30 in a town of 1000 than 30,000 people in a city. I grew up in a small town, my parents still feel alone in their small town, the MAGA types are so obnoxious, it's easy to feel like it's just you. And it's really really important to know that it's not just you.

I only got a couple pics at my local No Kings rally, but these signs begged to be photographed.

Friends and neighbors, I am lifted up. I’m thinking there were easily 150 people on the square of our little university town in east Alabama, and we got tons of honks and waves and smiles.

Notably, the only people flipping us off were middle-aged to old white men. Big shock.

This rally would NEVER have happened in our town during the first Turnip term. Things are changing, folks, and they’re changing in a big way. Hope is a powerful force.
