The governor’s office said the city’s two main reservoirs could dry up by May, much sooner than previous timelines. But authorities still offer no plan for curtailment of water use.

I'm from that part of Texas, born in Corpus. It's no surprise. We used to camp at Mathis Lake (Lake Corpus Christi). Even then, it seemed like just a very large stock tank. The politics in that part of Texas was the worst.
