This will be my first Walt Disney World Marathon - has anyone done this before? Would welcome to hear about your experiences and receive any advice.

If you’re traveling to Orlando, prepare for the weather. It could be 40-60° F, windy or not, and rainy or not.
Did you stay on property? Curious how transportation to the start works from one of the resort hotels.

You don’t have to stay on property, although it is more convenient but costlier.
We have stayed at the Wyndham Buena Vista across from Disney Springs and then walked to the RunDisney bus stop in Saratoga Springs.
@cricket_bacon The races start at 5am (maybe 4:30 for the marathon), so I would recommend being at the bus stop by 2-2:30am especially if it’s your first time.
