Would you like to test a small measurement tool feature for #inkscape ?

If you've got a second you could download this development build and use the measurement tool to measure your curves, angles and those kinds of things.

And let me know your thoughts on the User Experience, how comfortable it feels, etc inside GitLab if you can, or here if you can't.

@doctormo I'd love to, not sure what binary to pick up though - is it the app-image from here: https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/-/merge_requests/7812#note_3159262436 ?

@doctormo this looks quite useful (and promising). I'll definitely be testing this out and pass on my experiences.
@doctormo Corner feature is incredible. Just last week I was trying to measure the angle between screw threads, and couldn't make the tool measure the right spot, and now it just shows angles on hover :)
@doctormo I can’t see a download button

You have to navigate the development builds, it's in the green checkmarks, and then when you're in there there is a download and then you unpack that.

If you're unsure, don't worry too much, it is a bit of a faff.

@doctormo I put in a "second" and gave feedback on gitlab.com

Meta feedback here:

a) it would be useful to have direct links to binaries that should be tested.

b) knowing a more specifically expectation what kind of feedback is needed would be useful. I read the merge request and am unclear what is being asked of me. Does it describe a feature like it is, like it should be, is expected to be, or is it an instruction to check if it works that way, …
