I have been working on a DIY reactive load box with IR speaker simulation for playing a tube amp silently - akin to a UA Ox Box or Two Notes Captor X. I think it’s finally done! It was a lot of fun to make.

All the hardware and software are open source and there are extensive build instructions.

@optilude Oh excellent, even better!! I have built a few pedals from kits, so this seems like a good fit for a next-step-up in difficulty and depth project. I’ll be moving up from the hand-holding of the all-parts-provided kits to sourcing my own components will be a big step for me.

Plus, of course, I could use a load box.
