Are people still defending Biden or is his abject failure to prosecute Trump actually universally recognized now, especially as the Epstein files become public, something he failed to do or prosecute the relevant people for their contents?

(Please don’t respond saying the files were “sealed” because as we’re all aware of now sealed files can become unsealed with sufficient effort that didn’t happen, hence the problem)

I’ve been saying this from the beginning, but I was told to shut up and get in line and vote Biden, which I did. And he fucked us. And we need to talk about it so we don’t make the same mistakes again.

If there’s one takeaway about this entire situation, it’s that we need to stop electing old men who would hold the country hostage with their egos as they slowly lose their minds to be President of the United States

@bascule great leaders are not raising to the top and that's the design of the system that's broken. I would never (voluntarily) vote Hillary "It's my Turn!" Terf Clinton either or corporate Kamala "AI will solve problems!" Harris. They need someone who inspires people and that's systematic how these leaders get groomed to "It's my turn!" be entitled with their pedigree family trees & paid and provided for higher ivy education. Who ever raises to top they need to be among the people and not the corporate overlords who shill AI for all the problems. FDR only raised to the top because he was person of pedigree and even then social security act lacked universal healthcare etc. Abolish capitalism.

@pinkforest @bascule

Joe Biden and Barack Obama were two of the greatest presidents in American history. You wouldn't vote for either Kamala or Hillary seems a bit crazy in general, but in hindsight, it seems like your really screwed up and many people have to suffer as a result of your failures.

@HakeemG @pinkforest @bascule

This reads like satire or legit trolling.

"Joe Biden and Barack Obama were two of the greatest presidents in American history"? Come on. Nobody believes that.

The Affordable Care Act, ostensibly Obama's big win was literally written by insurance companies. We could have become a real first world country with universal health care, but we got this half-assed, still very privately controlled and profitable, toss off instead.

Obama spinelessly backed off from forcing his appointment of a Supreme Court Justice which turbo charged both Trump administrations by letting him stack bootlickers.

Obama reauthorized the Patriot Act, refused to close Guantanamo Bay, and sent drone strikes against Americans.

And Biden? His only legacy is genocide in Palestine and failing to hold Trump accountable for a fucking insurrection against the United States government.

Did they formalize protections for transgender people? Did they enshrine the tenets of Roe v. Wade or Obergefell v. Hodges into law? Did they try to rein in corporate lobbying and Super PACs? Did they try to curb government insider trading making Senators into millionaires? Did they reach out to progressives? Did they build any platform other than "at least we aren't those guys"?

I voted blue no matter who every time and yet, here we are.

Unless you have solutions or plans or answers or anything helpful to add, maybe you could just stop busting into talks by aggrieved people venting their completely justified anger and frustration just to air your rosy reinterpretation of events. Those events, I will remind you, led us right here.

No President in my half century of living has truly given a damn about "the People", demonstrably.

@jrdepriest @pinkforest @bascule

Really name two greater presidents? I could have sworn Obama got healthcare coverage for twenty million of the nation's poorest people, and you're claiming he didn't help anyone. I'm the troll? Really?
