The reason they don't sell chili dogs, nachos, and cold beer at a performing arts center is simple, the performers don't appreciate biological accompaniment; If only the sports world would embrace the dignity of the performing art world, then maybe sports would be far more enjoyable, who needs all that racket and noise, just a good quiet game or race would really enhance the experience; While we are at it, bars and concert venues, why so loud it's not like your shopping at walmart on blackfriday, do you really need all that yelling, screaming and loud horrible crap some call music; In reality, I would prefer an entire world in quietude as I truly despise noise in general, but I really deplore hearing the noise of others, whether biological, vocal, naturally or mechanical, the world should be regulated to a whopping 8db at a distance of 10ft from the source of sound, a quiet world is a contemplating world, where ideas come to life, and life excels over nonsense; I guess ideally I would be better off drifting in the cosmos where silence is not only golden but the metaphysical building block of superior consciousness;
