This post came about after trying to pick an Internet Service Provider, but the sentiment is pretty universal in all areas of life at this point.

@LoganFive I hate it as well. I hate how the structure makes me choose between the mega maiming machine and the delayed maiming machine. It makes my soul feel plunged in a sea of black.
But we are in the structure, and being threatened to have it brought down on all of our heads. So I resolve to push against it, and push for more than two buttons, and for a better structure on a local level (ranked choice, funded campaigns, ending citizens united, local elections, school boards, etc.)

In a parliamentary system where a party with 18% of the vote gets 18% of the seats, a populist people focused left wing option being part of the governing coalition is possible.
