For the midweek #Blendsday session, I tweaked this one a little more, adding animations for the sheets (ropes) and redoing the flag to be a little less stiff. Didn't notice that the flag was clipping through ropes before I rendered though >_<

This week's #Blendsday prompt is "Dragon." I made this dragon out of uniformly scaled cubes (except for the pupil, which is a squished cube)
Erin@Cheeseness I'd guess you don't often revisit these but I can see so clearly in my mind's eye this sequence/animation/loop:
- No fire, inflating dragon
- Deflating dragon, inflating fire
- Minimum dragon, maximum fire, and fire extinguishes again
@ChateauErin Yeah, this'd be fun to animate! A bob up and down and wing flap as the dragon hovers in place would be cool too. I don't normally come back to them, but sometimes I do. Usually it's down to how much free time I have (which sadly is very limited. I was considering skipping today's session - glad I didn't!)
@Cheeseness yeah this one's real cute.
I happened to be in the vicinity of some folks doing oxy-acetylene welding this week. This was in daytime, indoors, in a room with windows and skylights. The torch noticeably brightened the room when it lit (and I couldn't even see it directly). The dragon fire just reminded me of that.
@ChateauErin Oooh, what kind of stuff were they making?
@Cheeseness swapping out a compressor for a bar fridge. And, I heard later, they also broke a gas line by accident and had to fix that.
