University of Florida has deactivated its College Republicans chapter after the school was alerted to a photo showing a student leader performing a Nazi salute. https://www.gainesville.com/story/news/politics/2026/03/14/uf-college-republicans-disbanded-after-controversial-photo-emerges/89156776007/#
UF disbands College Republican chapter, citing antisemitic activity

The deactivation came at the request of the Florida Federation of College Republicans, though the UF chapter says it's not affiliated with that group.

@newsguyusa More evidence that the rise in antisemitism on college campuses that the fascist politicians and media keep bringing up is in fact other fascists
@BLTpizza @newsguyusa they are skating on thin ice, but with the fascism that is showing itself in Gaza and now Lebanon, the situation is becoming difficult to control ethically. Genocide and arbitrary killing is hardly ethical behaviour, but then, nazi salutes are also questionable, though muskrat seems to have got away with it...

@connynasch @BLTpizza @newsguyusa Do you expect Nazism threats to be treated reasonably when Zionists managed to pass laws making criticism of Zionism equal antisemitism?

You are all talking to blank walls. Until you address the elephants in the room, ZIONISM, the GENOCIDAL SETTLER state of Israel, and a LARGE number of genocidal PEOPLE in Israel, and admit that some laws are unconstitutional, all your eggshell walking is useless. Your speech is void and ineffective.

@connynasch @BLTpizza @newsguyusa That being said. EU state members are worse. I checked you live in Luxembourg. My wild guess is that Zionism criticism is also outlawed in your country with unfair laws and heavy policing. I encourage you to push your local representatives the way Spain supports humanity and decency. Don't let Fascists and Zionists wear the Jewish and Holocaust cloak to justify murder and genocide. Nothing justifies a Holocaust. Wherever it was.
@freagle @BLTpizza @newsguyusa I have always been free to express my opinion, nix is outlawed here and I am very vocal 🤔 😒 There is only one colleague who does not agree with all I have to say, but then that is the point of discussion. My circle of friends is well-educated, teachers and their like. We listen and think.
@newsguyusa First Elon (allegedly), now this?!
@franciswashere @newsguyusa allegedly? He did it twice in a row on camera in front of thousands of people. Show me one person who doesn’t believe it was a Nazi salute and I’ll point out one nazi for you.
@passwordsarehard4 But by saying that, you are opening yourself to libel whereas (apparently) I am not. At least I think so. Ian Hislop seems to be the expert; I'm not.
@newsguyusa FIFY: "citing antisemitic activity they got caught at".
@newsguyusa Truth in advertising

@newsguyusa

When's Ronbo gonna shove his nubby vienna sausage digits into this pie for his personal glory?

Republicans = Nazis. Like, all of them. Is the deal these days. They should be removed from every institution of learning and left to fester in old barns and backwaters until reality just grows over what's left of them.

Shunned. Exorcised. Excommunicated. Expelled. Expressed anally. Don't curr. Go to rot, nazis.

@newsguyusa I mean what exactly did they expect?
@newsguyusa sad how low the bar’s sunk that i’m actually kind of impressed the university took action
@newsguyusa The way to deal with people who call themselves Republicans who make Nazi salutes is to assume they are, in fact, Nazis.
@newsguyusa
They should have taken away their white sheets too
