GIMP - GIMP 3.2 Released

Release notes for GIMP 3.2

@GIMP
Are those like linked smart objects? Layers that point to files? Because that is the single biggest feature that keeps me hogtied to Photoshop.

I sure hope it's possible to scale each linked layer in different ways. That's something that even Photoshop has not figured out how to do yet. I don't always want to use bicubic scaling. For example my pixel art requires nearest-neighbor scaling. My inking layers need to use bilinnear scaling to recreate traditional anti-aliasing.

@humbird0 @GIMP Yes, that's exactly what link layers are. And you should be able to scale each link layer independently of the others.
@humbird0 @GIMP the use of the word hogtied, especially discussing a program called GIMP, will never not be hilarious to me
@humbird0 @GIMP, generally, there are ways to accelerate development of @GIMP, notably coding and donating to developers.
