wow i only got 2 demons out of this post? π either you are all cowards
or you don't experience disordered sleep (unlikely!)
or (most likely), you are just keeping your sexy demons a secret from me. (unfair, selfish, un-christlike.)
@superviviansunshine @Ananas holy fucking shit !!!! ok yeah this is the most terrifying one! i would have pissed myself!!
8/10, so horrifying that i am also a little turned on
@plut0nian
Silhouette shadow people with no real features
Kinda skinny but can change shape a little
Not into anything cool but for instance they can get skinnier or wider, shorter or taller, stick to a surface like a shadow, or sit/stand on their own
I know you're gonna try to be nice about it, but I absolutely I got some mid, basic bitch, sleep paralysis demons and it's okay to say that
@Ananas no i like an adaptable demon. they're flexible, they can be as scary or sexy as they need to be, depending on whatever fragile mental state you're in at the time.
i rate them 7/10
dear mister bing, what is the "Netiquette" for tagging someone under a post and going "this is soooo you, lol" if it's their own postTall. Long? Vague shapes. Humanoid.
Thennnn there's the goblin. But that was more a pmdd hallucination.
Angry. Glowing eyes (RED) . He would scurry out from under my bed all pissed off. Wild thing is: you THINK when you start seeing things that you'll believe they are real. Even though that fuck WAS THERE, PLAIN AS DAY I knew he wasn't real. He pissed me off. Strangest fucking thing. Hope I don't see him again.
Already over it. Never even named that fucker.
I will say though, the sleep demons were familiar. Though they had no features, I knew that I knew them. Wondering if that is also a common theme.
@plut0nian mine has haunted me as long as i can remember. it was there in my earliest dreams. sometimes years pass without it, but it always shows up again eventually
it has no appearance, no form, but i always recognize itβs presence immediately. i find myself in total darkness, total emptiness. i cannot move, i cannot scream, and i am filled with terror beyond anything iβve ever felt. just me, and that horrible, horrible presenceβi am back in the dream again, like i never even left.
@plut0nian once, while very sleep deprived, i thought i could just wait it out. itβs not real, i told myself. i need the sleep. i tried to remain asleep as long as i could. until it spoke to me:
βnow, i have youβ it said, and i knew i had made a mistake
that is the only time i heard it speak in words.
@joobles holy fucking shit. this is some of the best horror writing i've read in ages. chills down my spine.
unfortunately i also kinda think it's a little sexy and i'm giving The Dark a 9/10.
Mine is always behind me, out of sight, but it is an overwhelming presence that freezes me in place. I struggle to move, to turn and fight or even to run, but I am consumed by terror. My wife always knows when it's happening because I am breathing hard with the effort. My cat would even become concerned and move to check on me and comfort me when it happened, before he passed away. Luckily I don't have those nightmares often.
@MediumWasTedium classic
10/10. 2026 is the year of sexualizing The Void.
@crow the grandparents one!!! ahhhh 0/10.
sepia toned woman with a cat = mysterious, intriguing, 9/10!
you are so right. you just know. you are lucky to be blessed by such an abundance of demons my friend π
I can't remember mine, but I _have_ translated quite a few historical accounts.
