Bluesky is microblogging for people who don't microblog, mixed with career capital-p Posters, and it's glued all together with liberalism's worst impulses.
And honestly, god bless you if this is not your experience. But I've never had fun scrolling BS. It's like a parody of liberal late-stage Twitter and Shrimp-Jesus Facebook. If they don't figure a way to make some homegrown celebrity posters soon, it's a wrap, I think. And I sincerely do not hope for that outcome because Meta benefits.

Its this kinda post on Bluesky that should worry folks imo.
- Subscriptions coming soon! - Like is this a good thing? I mean sure, this might be a better funding model than VC, but it spells content lock behind a paywall
- No ads (yet lol)
- No "pay to win” - see bullet 1?
- "No reason to worry” - like what? I wasn't until you said something... 😬
- They "trust the bluesky team with their life”? - fanatical?
Oh and they disabled replies because they knew they'd be dragged, even ON Bluesky
Bluesky at ~10m users --> works great!
Bluesky at ~20m users --> "Internal Server Error"... or "NotEnoughResources"
