This right here is why you pay artists, folks.

I needed a reference sheet for a fursuit, and none of my existing ref sheets really fit the requirements, so I decided to make my own.
Out of internet clipart.
I cannot stop laughing at this, the face especially just looks so out of place. May it bring you joy also!
And a question for the actual artists out there: if someone gave this to you as a character ref, would you consider it usable? Once you stopped laughing, of course.
When you read about Bans of Social Media for Teens and Age Verification, you must remember what it truly means:
• Official identification of every adult using social media.
• Deanonymization of every account, endangering groups that often rely on pseudonymity for safety, such as victims of domestic violence, victims of stalkers, people of color, and LGBTQ+ people.
• Putting every adult at great danger of exploitation, fraud, and identity theft by forcing them to share their official ID with a for-profit third-party company with no incentive to protect it. Breaches have already happened.
• Constructing a system of mass surveillance to attach every comment on social media to a legal identity. Effectively allowing authoritarian governments to silence their critics and opposition.
• Potential for dystopian censorship and cutting off means of organization for groups of resistance to oppressive regime and organizations.
• Endangering children online by putting a clear identification beacon over every child or family with children online.
• Endangering the data of children who will inevitably try to pass as adults, and have their information collected by the third-party for-profit company.
• Diminishing the value of official identification due to the inevitable data breaches, eventually pushing the system to require even more intrusive identification techniques, such as iris scans and fingerprints.
• Installing a system of mass surveillance capable of attaching even more information to everyone's legal identity. With a potential to built list of people in certain groups, and scale-up state censorship and discrimination in unprecedented ways.
• The list goes on and on.
This isn't about protecting the children.
It never was.
Do not be duped by this excuse used to convince you to let go of your human rights. They are only trying to manipulate people lacking information.
Stay informed on the issues related to Age Verification, and push back for your rights to privacy and democracy.
The future depends on us.

Teamwork! Asenzi welded up my bracket this morning, so I got to put the rest of the suspension together. The torsion bar gave me some trouble (as always) but everything else went together smoothly.
I have three nuts left to tighten, four cotter pins to install, and we have to replace the fitting on the body-side brake line. Then of course I'll need to put some miles on the truck to get everything settled, and tighten everything down again. THEN I'll have to figure out how to mount the front sway bar, but I may save that for later this year (it's finally getting warm enough to work on the camper again).
This was the last big push though! Kachow!
Some furries: "hehe I'm furry trash"
Me: "yiff-raff"
Passenger side suspension on the '96 Dakota is fully disassembled! Asenzi will be welding the front LCA mount again, so I'm hitting everything with degreaser and a fresh coat of rustoleum while I wait.
This side should go together *much* faster! I had to do a lot of customization, measurement, testing, etc. on the driver's side, but I made notes and I should have all my parts ready for the passenger side. Probably looking at a long afternoon to get everything together.
Of course, there's more to do beyond the front suspension, but that will be my first major milestone!
Get fucked.
Seeking recommendations!
I'm in the market for a fursuit (at least a partial, head/tail/feet/hands; maybe a full suit depending on price).
Had conversations with two makers that have gone nowhere; one required a google account just to fill out a commission form (I don't use google products), the other wanted full payment for a spot in line with a 6+ mo wait before starting (I understand materials cost money and makers need some money in advance, but that felt fishy to me).
Not looking for anything too complex, but I have two requirements: lightest, most breatheable head I can get (my current head is 2-3" of foam and is insanely uncomfortable), and a head that actually fits (I have a large meat head, so a lot of premades are way too small).
Who have folks worked with in the past? Mostly interested in suggestions based on recent experience. "I/my friend worked with X last year and they're great!" is useful; "I read on a 15 year old forum post Y is good" is not.
