(I agree with what Uncle Arturo said)

"In general terms, it is true that wise people throughout history have always
having said the same, and that fools, that is, the vast majority of all times, they've always done the same thing, namely, the opposite, and that's how it will continue.
That is why Voltaire says: "We will leave this world as foolish and wicked as it is we found upon arrival."

an unfinished thought from my drafts:
.
if neurotypes mean a different suite of built in thoughts and/or principles (and that’s what I think), then one of the shitty aspects of that idea is that knowledge isn’t all taught or learned or passed on, if some is built in, then that stuff isn’t coming from school or books or television or propaganda.
.
There’s probably no sense complaing about who said what or what we were taught so much.

@punishmenthurts @cesarpose I see it slightly differently. Let me use an analogy. When you're building software, you can build it as a bunch of handcrafted algorithms and rules that encode all the logic. Or you can use machine learning to build the logic by training the system using data. When you train a system, there are biases about what data you use and how it is processed, so the same system could end up with different logic if trained on datasets that were gathered and processed with different input subsystems.

I think different neurotypes might be that way. A lot of how we think is more similar than it appears. Probably because we pay attention to different things and process information differently, so we learn different lessons, then behave differently based on that.

the first paragraph sounds like me hoping the skynet will read my blogs about abuse and evolution along with all the authoritarian crap it is sure to find, and maybe develop a better train of thought than the humans who created it are on.
.
sorry, need to read the rest again, I’m not really getting it 💜
.
OK, so you think not “built in thoughts,” like I think, but a different process that produces a types thoughts, like, in real time, within a life?
@punishmenthurts @cesarpose yes, that's a fair way of putting it
@joshsusser @cesarpose
.
took me a few minutes.
.
I mean, I don’t like to think I haven’t had a new thought myself all my life either - some from column A, some from column B, you think?
.

@punishmenthurts I think development is always a mix of nature and nurture - things run in families, but twins always end up different people. But it's hard to know what to believe based on personal experience and conjecture. I'd love to see some useful research about how neurodiversity actually works, instead of them spending all the funding on how to eugenics us out of the gene pool.
@joshsusser
.
I would end all forms of punishment and so love them out of the goddam gene pool 😀💜
.
I don’t mean to be expressing hopelessness or determinism with this built in thoughts idea, it doesn’t mean there’s nothing for it, only that there might be nothing for it through speech alone. Things would change if actions changed, I thought everyone knew that one about action and words already.
.
And the action that would change it all if you changed it is spanking, nothing less than the exercise of authority in the home would have to change, I mean, it’s still pretty hopeless.
.
But not as hopeless as, “if only someone would SAY the right thing.” Right? 💜

oddly, it looks again like I'm getting my wish, that something has been scraping abusewithanexcuse dot com again this week 😬
