This is my skillet bread. I make it with buckwheat flour, egg, salt, and baking powder. But it also has ginger, turmeric, and black pepper (anti-inflammatory spices).
I call it "gunpowder bread," and my wife calls it "radioactive bread" because of its color. Either way, it's very healthy for me, easy to make, and very tasty.

My view on politics... (a brutally honest and autistic opinion)

Why do the most powerful countries do the things they do? Simply because they can, because it's their nature—a perverse and dark human nature.
Is the blame solely on politicians and government officials? Well, politicians and government officials are products of the same society, the same environments, families, schools, and universities. And they are placed in their positions by the same society that later denies its culture and tears its hair out over what its representatives do. Are societies victims of their leaders? Generally, no. Do they bear responsibility for what their leaders do? Yes, always.
Democracy, as it is now, obsolete, allows people to put a bunch of lunatics in charge and then wash their hands as if they had no responsibility for a bunch of sons of bitches being in charge and causing disasters.

It takes a lot of conditioning to separate ourselves from our true nature. We spend a lifetime doing it. It takes a lot of training to reconnect with our true nature.
There comes a moment when we realize that something isn't quite right, that somehow we haven't been told the whole story, that there's more to this life than people seem to think or than we've been told. The moment that thought arises, we begin to glimpse something, and the need to awaken is born.

When I was 16, I wrote a poem that included the line, "Everything that is born begins to die." Had I read philosophy? No, it was quantum physics and thermodynamics. Over the years, as an adult, I encountered Zen and philosophy.
Understanding the inexorability of life, the arrow of time, and watching my elders grow old, I realized that death doesn't arrive suddenly one day; rather, it begins the moment we are born, and that death is the same process as life. My father-in-law used to say at the end of the day, "one more day, more or less" (he was quite the philosopher, that old man).
So why run if fate is decided, why fight if we will lose anyway, why calculate losses and gains if, as Schopenhauer said, life is a business that doesn't cover its costs.
Everything we do, the mere fact of being alive, generates entropy, inexorably pushing the arrow of time forward.
And entropy, physicists tell us, leads to the disintegration of all cosmic structures, to the death of the universe. And that includes me, you, the planet, everything.
Today is all I have; this present moment is the only life I have.
