Good morning 🌄

5:55 am out,, the sky was much brighter this morning and seeing as I was sticking to street lamp lit areas I went without the head torch.

A really good 10k, quickest this year, even with the first 4 Km running up the side of Wardija Hill.

Today's route also included 5k of tourist zone; including a Barcadi bar - open & serving @ 6:30am! The amount of runners out was quite something, which is why I don't run here often.

@robchapman well that's a way to start the morning ... It's been a while since I've neededl/wanted (or even been up at 6:30am) a stiff drink ;) well done on the 10k.

@woollypigs I know right...it's 3 years on Saturday, the day I quit alcohol. I can't actually say I miss it, I do prefer running more, and I get an equally good buzz without the hangover.
(If you really want to feel tired, I actually got up at 0410Hrs, and made a Flat white for the Boss and an Americano for myself on the Dolce Gusto machine...)

@robchapman that machine would wake you without the need of coffee, the noise they make. Well done on the 3 years, I'll lift a cuppa in your honor and here's to 3 more!

@woollypigs I know, right! We have the really basic Krups version, the one that kinda looks like a penguin, which is why we call it Percy.
But the expensive all singing all dancing programmable version that delivers the exact amount for water depending on the pod sounds exactly the same...you simply can't quieten that hot water instant boiler down and keep the small form factor. Thanks, re: my tea totalism - I'll raise a a bodum thermal glass of fresh pressed black coffee to that in a sec
