I have no clue how ya'll actually FULLY clean your fountain pens, like, fully residue-free.
By now I've accepted I'll just need a seperate converter for each ink, as I don't have the feeling any non-metal part ever gets fully clean with just water.
Ah well, time to let it all rest in water over night for the occasional ink refresher. 😅ðŸ˜
@BryanGreyson I just used this: https://www.rohrer-klingner.de/de/reiniger-2/ to revive a very old Mont Blanc fountain pen. You do need a fitting converter to get the stuff into the pen and to wash the gunk out afterwards.
And of course no guarantee that the ink channels won't be damaged, but usually, that risk is better than a fountain pen that will never write again.
It's also desirable to just have more fountain pens for a variety of inks, of course 😉
