I emailed Octopus last evening (Sunday) to request a transfer from standard outgoing to Agile outgoing, and received a reply less than an hour later saying that they had switched me over.

@Malwen I think this is the way I’m going to go now the fixed has dropped. Just I’d rather export straight from generation rather than cycle the battery to store and export at a given time 🤔
@staustellsimon I'm still in 2 minds about battery cycling. I know that some people say you might as well, so long as you don't exceed the terms of the warranty, then others say it's not worth it for a few pence profit. I sort of agree with both points of view!
I wouldn't want to commit to being on Agile long term, but as far as I'm aware, there are no restrictions regarding switching between outgoing tariffs.
