Unsure what was going on here, but the whole main board appears to be wrapped in foil. The interface connector on the rear seems to have a soldered on L-connector with a button to do "things". This poor thing is going to get a full tear down before I even CONSIDER turning it on. #tandy #trs80 #retrocomputing

Comparing the text output of my fairly standard L2 mod 16K Model 1 to this 48K beast. Simple test and I think I have a stuck bit somewhere. Unless the CharGen ROM for this mod is intentionally setting the Underscore modifier here.
