Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith is a composer, electronic artist, and vocalist who works primarily with modular synthesizers. Her music has gone through a steady transformation over the years from her new age adjacent earlier work to a sound that had strong ambient leanings but also adopted an almost playful tone, followed by her current output that quite overtly emphasizes a pop element with catchy melodies. This later phase came with her 2022 album Let's Turn It Into Sound, which is where her pop streak took shape. She still reaches back at her ambient instincts on and off, but she also constructs a great deal of club type beats and layered beats.
