I almost stopped watching the first episode of Paradise because what was happening isn't at all how things would go in such a scenario.

Watching through to the end paid off as all of the little things I noticed from the first 10 minutes or so that were off and odd were shown to be just so, and presumably the underlying plot of the series.

A unique premise that can go either way, brilliant or terrible; I don't think it can land in the middle.

The series premise is great but the execution is uneven with too much emphasis on adding secret after secret after secret while revealing too little until the last few episodes.

Overall, I enjoyed season 1.

The first episode of season 2 is excellent.

Shailene Woodley is phenomenal and the writers created a mostly realistic scenario that gave her room to work.

(I mean, #Graceland would've been looted)

Second episode, not good.

It had potential but the "meet cute", wasn't (co-ed hospital rooms 😑), days/weeks with no visitors; training just paused 🤔; superhuman strength in the fight; kids surviving solo while being hunted.

Too much suspension of disbelief required to get through this one. I think the show has peaked.

The first season was uneven and this episode doesn't give me hope the writers can get things grounded.

@ricardoharvin spot on, thanks. Graceland was surprisingly good, I think all these post fall of civilization showrunners should take a closer look at station 11.

@mcquiniac Graceland was excellent, the best episode of the series, so far.

I give credit to Shailene Woodley's acting for elevating the writing and directing.

The premise of this show is great so I try to overlook its (too?) many mistakes.

Station Eleven was really good, especially the first half of the series. Something was missing for me in the last several episodes, even though they were still good.

@ricardoharvin that last episode of 11 was impressive. I started out resenting the Hamlet stuff but they way it played out was cool. the hyperstitionality of the graphic novelists interaction with the pilot was awesome.
