Some people need more help than others, yes, but that does not mean help needed can, or should, be described using a line. There is no singular value to describe help needed. The discussion should always be "help with what?"

@RosethornRanger I'm high IQ, big vocab, but have skipped meals simply cause I couldn't handle the grocery store, I can't hold a job anymore, completely lose it if touched by people who aren't approved, and if I'm doing something related to my interests - you don't exist, nobody does.
@RosethornRanger I can make eye contact for short periods, am a star in sarcasm, everything falls to sh*t. My partner is also autistic, rarely has meltdowns, rarely goes non-verbal (the opposite in fact). This "high" and "low" does me box in. How many times do I have to say to people there's no one-size-fits-all?

@RosethornRanger I read through this and every item applied to me, so I had guess what the ending statement would be long before getting to it.

I also knew that many of my mutuals would feel the same, and now I'm watching them boost it, or reply, and I'm just sitting back nodding my head.

I wish more people understood this. Thanks for sharing it.
