Also not aware that jewish believers do think about the end if times.

200 separate individual reports saying their commanders made similar remarks. Their corroboration doesn't require recordings.

Do you think police in that circumstance would judge 200 similar reports as untrue?

It is simply snopes' policy not to call judgement in such circumstances. That is not the same as saying it is untrue.
