@FoxesInLove Quello che provi ce lo ridirai? That's what you're doing, and you're doing it wonderfully. 🎶💖🎶

#PostOfTheWeek (season 3):
This comic is a cute joke about being embarrassed when someone hears you singing alone. It mixes a romantic song with an awkward moment.

@ZoeMammut
First panel
The character is doing laundry and singing an Italian song line:
“Voi che sapete che cosa è amor, donne”
This line comes from the opera Le Nozze di Figaro by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
It roughly means:
“You who know what love is, ladies…”

So the character is happily singing a romantic opera song while washing clothes. 🎶

@ZoeMammut
Second panel
The character continues singing:
“Vedete s’io l’ho nel cor…”
Meaning roughly:
“Tell me if I have it (love) in my heart…”
They are still alone, enjoying themselves and singing dramatically.

Third panel (the surprise)
Another character suddenly appears and asks:
“You sing when you do laundry by yourself?”
The singer gets startled and drops the laundry (the “AAAAH!” sound). 😱
This shows that the character thought they were alone and now feels embarrassed.
@ZoeMammut
Fourth panel
The singer apologizes:
“I didn’t mean to startle you.”
The other character replies:
“It’s okay.”
So the moment ends in a cute, slightly awkward but friendly interaction.

Why exactly do you feel the need to explain to me a comic I understand perfectly good? 🤔
Do you realize the Mozart aria continues with "quello che provo vi ridirò" and that I'm alluding to this?
So thanks for wanting to help me out but it's really not necessary since I'm quite familiar with the Foxes following them on various platforms for more than 3 years.
@FoxesInLove Sometimes I wish there was some 4th wall breaking, like green jumping up, hanging from the bottom of the 3rd panel and him on the 3rd panel looking confused about that...
