Morning Mastodonians!

My team won this morning, 7 to 4. So it was a good start to the day. We jumped out to an early lead and basically just hung on until the end, since we had only two subs, one fewer than the other team. I even made a couple of nice right pad saves, which means I’m getting my pad down correctly. And I’m doing it more often than not, which is good. I did badly mishandle a puck that led to a goal, but they should know better than to let me handle the puck. 😸

I am hoping we can get the grocery shopping out of the way #Today. It seems to take a lot out of my precious weekend if we don’t get to it today. If the crazy weather clears up, I will take the dogs for a walk. But other than that, nothing planned. I do want to give Massive Darkness 2 a chance. I loved the first one, but didn’t like my short play of the sequel. But it is more highly rated, so I should give it another try. I have a ton of content for it, thanks to the update kit.

Nothing planned this weekend. Well, that isn’t quite true. We are supposed to meet some friends at a local Irish pub on Saturday. They are freshly back from a Mexican vacation, so we’ll have to hear about how great the weather was there. I’m jealous. My wife seems serious about going to #Paris to practice her #French. I might call her bluff and plan a long weekend trip. I’ve done it before, but it’s gone nowhere. I am anxious to travel more.
I am just about done writing up my report in the #SaltMine. We have only been finding 6 out of a potential 40+ CVEs in the source code, and I have a theory why. I want to toss that out there to the team and see what they think we can do about it. I think there might be an easy fix if we’re willing to be too aggressive instead of too conservative.

Be safe. Wash your hands. Watch your distance. Wear your N95 mask. Vaccinate! Boost!
