There's plenty of people being very angry at "non-voters" for letting the Greater Evil come to power instead of the Lesser Evil.

And ok, I definitely see where this is coming from.

But why don't they blame the candidates that failed to offer what the voters wanted?
Isn't that what the candidate's job is supposed to be?

Isn't the fact that we have such low expectations from our representatives a massive failure of our democratic system?
If your choice is between two evils, isn't THAT the core problem that needs to be addressed?

Why they blame the relatively powerless instead than the relatively powerful?

And for the record, I vote.

I assume that blaming non-voters is an attempt to influence them and get them to actually vote.
But why do people think they can have more influence on non-voters rather than on their candidates?
