@stanleygrill @rbreich Wanting health care is not an opinion.
You don't even have the slightest idea how many people would prefer public money to be spent on health care rather than war. You consider making up stuff to be a valid support for your beliefs.

taking Iran (and Iranian proxies..) off the chess board permanently won't exactly be a bad thing. Long overdue, honestly. It'll bring peace to the region a lot faster than negotiations have. Just sayin'. Ditto for the future collapse of Russia. There's just no negotiating (or reasoning..) with some people, both in life, inside your own HOA, and also at a nation-state level.

opinions vary on this.
#AltText of the screenshot from Blusky:
"Robert Reich
So far the war in Iran has cost an estimated $5.5 billion.
That's roughly $1 billion per day.
$41,666,667 per hour.
$11,574 per second.
People do not want this.
They want a living wage. They want
healthcare. They want to be able to afford a home. They want their basic needs met."
@rbreich i'm sure Americans will line up in at least tens of millions to have a general strike to bring the pedo in chiefs regime to its knees... Any minute now....
As if, more like they will line up at the Apple Stores to get thet latest iToy, while having to work three jobs to afford that luxury than caring about how much more it costs to kill brown people overseas while foregoing any social benefits from their own tax dollars.
War is costly. I hope one day we can build an alternative system that can do without war and instead spend those resources on peace, health and prosperity.
